It often starts small. A foot that catches on the doorstep. A glass that needs two hands where one used to do. Families usually arrive at our Bannerghatta Road center after months of watching these small things add up, wondering if anything can actually be done. In most cases, yes. The nervous system rewires itself through repetition, and guiding that rewiring is precisely what neurological physiotherapy is for.

We work daily with people living with multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Guillain Barre syndrome and cerebral palsy. No two of them move alike, so no two plans here look alike. Your program is built from a detailed movement examination, not from a diagnosis label, and it is rebuilt every month as your body responds.

01 · Who this helps

Conditions We Treat

01

Walking & Mobility

Walking from bedroom to kitchen without holding the wall, on the floors you actually live on.

02

Hand Function & Fine Motor Control

Buttons, spoons, phone screens. Fine control practice built into everyday objects, not just clinic props.

03

Fatigue Management

For MS and muscular dystrophy, pacing and conditioning that stretch your good hours further.

04

Paediatric Neuro Care

For children with cerebral palsy, play-led sessions where the games quietly do the therapy.

02 · Our method

Our Treatment Approach

“They never treated my son like a diagnosis. They treated him like a boy who wanted to play cricket again.”

  • Task-specific training

The movement you want back is the movement we practise. Standing from your own sofa height. Climbing steps like yours. Hundreds of quality repetitions, because that is what rewires the brain.

  • Balance & Gait Training

Parallel bars, floor courses and cue-based walking drills, progressed only as fast as your confidence allows.

  • Graded Strength Training

Neurological muscle punishes both overwork and underwork. We find your window using effort scales and adjust it session by session.

  • Family Training & Home Program

We teach safe assistance, transfers and a short home program, so the six days a week you are not with us still count.

03 · The journey

What to Expect: Your Treatment Stages

  1. Visit one

    A proper neuro assessment

An unhurried movement examination covering strength, balance, tone and daily function, ending with goals in your words, not ours.

  2. Weeks 1 to 4

    Foundations

High-repetition practice of your priority movements, with baseline measurements recorded so progress is provable.

  3. Every month

    Re-test and rebuild

A formal re-assessment. What improved, what did not, and what changes next. You will never wonder if it is working.

How long does neurological rehabilitation take?

It depends on the condition and where you start. Most patients see meaningful change within six to eight weeks of consistent work, and our monthly re-tests mean you always know your trajectory instead of guessing.

Is physiotherapy worthwhile if the condition is progressive?

Yes, and this matters. For MS or muscular dystrophy the goal shifts from cure to keeping strength, independence and safety for as long as possible. Done well, that changes what daily life looks like for years.

Do you treat children with cerebral palsy?

We do. Paediatric sessions are play-led and goal-based, and parents are in the room learning alongside, so therapy continues naturally at home.

Can sessions happen at home?

Yes. For patients who find travel difficult, we run structured home programs across Bannerghatta Road, RR Nagar and Kengeri with the same assessment and re-test discipline as the center.
